An Evening with a True Hero

Presented by Bharathakala Natya Academy and Third Eye Dancers, An Evening with a True Hero was a special tribute honoring Mr. Narayanan Krishnan, founder of Akshaya Trust and one of CNN's Top 10 Heroes of 2010. The event celebrated his extraordinary dedication to serving the homeless and underserved through compassion, dignity, and selfless service.

Drawing an audience of more than 650 attendees, the evening featured Bharatanatyam performances, devotional works, and thematic dance presentations inspired by the values Mr. Krishnan embodies. The production served not only as a celebration of an inspiring humanitarian but also as a reminder of the power of service to transform lives. Through dance and community engagement, the event raised awareness and support for Akshaya Trust's ongoing efforts.
