Prana

Produced by Bharathakala Natya Academy and choreographed by Smt. Subathra Sudarshan, Prana was presented as a fundraiser for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. Held at The Lovett School, the event brought together more than 500 attendees to support efforts toward research, treatment, and patient care while raising awareness about cystic fibrosis and its impact on individuals and families.

The centerpiece of the evening was a powerful dance drama that followed the journey of a young woman living with cystic fibrosis. Through Bharatanatyam and expressive storytelling, the production explored the physical and emotional challenges of the disease while emphasizing resilience, hope, and the strength of the human spirit. By bringing a complex medical condition to life through dance, Prana fostered understanding, compassion, and support for those affected by cystic fibrosis.
