In December 2024, Bharathakala Naatya Academy students Kripa Mahadevan, Akshada Subramaniyan, Shreya Srinivasan, Kriti Vaji, and Namasya Sajan traveled to India to present a traditional Bharatanatyam Margam at three historic temples: Chidambaram Temple, Kollur Sri Mookambika Devi Temple, and Udupi Sri Krishna Temple.

Performing a complete Margam in these sacred spaces was a meaningful opportunity for the students to connect more deeply with the roots and traditions of Bharatanatyam. Through these performances, they had the privilege of sharing their years of training and dedication in places deeply connected to India’s spiritual and artistic heritage.
