Dayaa Nidhi

Produced by Bharathakala Natya Academy and choreographed by Smt. Subathra Sudarshan, Dayaa Nidhi was a fundraising dance production presented at the Pace Fine Arts Center in support of Rising Star Outreach. The event drew nearly 600 attendees and helped raise awareness for individuals and communities affected by leprosy.

The centerpiece of the production was a powerful dance drama that portrayed the journey of a young woman living with leprosy, shedding light on the misconceptions and social stigma surrounding the disease. Through expressive storytelling and Bharatanatyam, the performance inspired compassion and understanding among audiences.

The success of Dayaa Nidhi extended beyond the stage. Funds raised through the production supported the construction of a library for children in a leprosy colony, creating new opportunities for learning and growth.
