On July 5, 2026, Bharathakala Naatya Academy proudly presented DHARA at the All Indian Dance Festival 2026 at the iconic Isaac Stern Auditorium, Carnegie Hall, New York.

Presented by Three Aksha in collaboration with the Consulate General of India, New York, the festival brought together artists from across the country to celebrate India’s rich cultural heritage through dance. Bharathakala Naatya Academy was honored to share DHARA on one of the world’s most prestigious stages during this special celebration.

The occasion became even more memorable as Bharathakala Naatya Academy received the Kalaprasthaka Award, becoming the only dance school to receive this recognition at the festival. The award honors notable contributions to Indian classical dance and recognizes the dedication to preserving and promoting Indian classical performing arts.
